Hi Everyone,

My name is Anna Marina Hedlund and I am a professional golf player. I would like your help to make my dream of playing on the LPGA tour possible.

I was born in 1996 and grew up in Leksand, Sweden but currently live in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina where I am preparing for the 2021 LPGA Tour Qualifying School. I graduated from Lousiana State University in December 2019, after representing the LSU Women’s golf team on a full athletic scholarship for 4.5 years.

Sport has always been my major focus in life. I was very fortunate to be a national team member in two sports, Golf and Alpine Skiing. I attended one of Sweden’s top National Golf academy’s, RIG Helsingborg and quickly secured a spot in the National Swedish Golf Team for girls. In 2015, I moved to Baton Rouge, Lousiana to play golf for LSU over 5,000 miles away from home. I looked at this opportunity as a great next step to pursuing my dream to compete at the top level of women’s golf, the LPGA tour.

My biggest amateur achievements are:
2nd Irish Open Under 18, 2013
3rd Irish Open Under 18, 2012
8th French Ladies Amateur Open Stroke play, 2013
Participated in European Individual Ladies Amateur Championship 2018, Slovakia 

I completed my first full year as a professional golfer in 2020. I finished third on the Swedish Golf Tour, order of Merit and had two top-10 finishes. SWGT Hagge Open and SWGT Johannesberg Open.

In 2021, I will compete in 7 SWGT/NGT events leading up to the LPGA Qualifying school that begins in August. Every event is budgeted to cost me $1350 with traveling expenses, accommodations, entry fees and coaching fees. LPGA Q-school itself has an entry fee of $5,500 ($2,500 for stage 1 and $3,000 for stage 2 )If my budget allows, I plan to attend the Ladies European Tour Qualifying School as well which would be an additional cost of $3,500.
