Anna Howard and Family
Donation protected
To know the Howard family is to love them. Whether it be Evan’s bright and often mischievous smile or Anna’s impeccable taste and warm demeanor, you can’t help but feel happier when with them. They have been two of our closest friends for over 20 years and were there for us when we needed them most. Now it is our turn to help them.
Anna has been on a long and uncertain journey to find out the cause of her partial vision loss. She has been to countless appointments since last summer and has had to take leave from her beloved teaching job. After a trying 4 months, there is finally a plan to treat what they have discovered to be a very rare and rapidly growing optic nerve glioma.
Please help us as we do what we can to support the family while Anna takes on chemotherapy and radiation to stop the tumor from growing any further. It is not certain how much the treatment will affect her physically or if the vision loss will continue. That leaves her future in teaching uncertain. From medical appointments back and forth to Baltimore and DC, loss of income, and any incidentals they may need, we are asking everyone to come together and help us as they so graciously did for us.
Anna’s positive outlook and love for her husband and three amazing children will undoubtedly help her fight this fight. We have nothing but faith in her ability to overcome this but ask that you help us in easing some of the worry and burden during this difficult time.
