Hi, Family and Friends of Anna Horton Patel- as most of you may know Anna has recently been diagnosed with breast Cancer. On December 8th of this year, Anna will undergo breast surgery- a double mastectomy. Anna and her family are overcome with everyone's generosity, kindness, and prayers during this hard time. I know so many of you love and care for Anna, and have reached out about wanting to help. This page was created- so you can do just that. “Not too long ago, I found out I have breast cancer. The good news is it’s small and looks like we caught it early. I had a lump that I had been watching for a while. I really felt like it was just a cyst, but I just had a nagging feeling that I should get it checked out. Well that led to a mammogram/ultrasound that confirmed what I was feeling was just a cyst. But the mammogram showed something else. Something that I could NOT feel. I’m only 39 and had I not had that cyst, who knows when I would of found the cancer. Please don’t put off your mammogram. Make that appointment as soon as you can. Early detection is a blessing.
