Helping Anna on Her Final Journey after she has served the Newmarket community for so many years as our trusted cabby

Story:

On June 12th, our beloved friend Anna was found peacefully asleep, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. Anna had no family of her own, but she created a family out of her closest friends—people like myself, Liz, Maz, Fin, and many others who knew and loved her deeply.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Anna for nearly 20 years, and Liz, Maz, and Fin have known her for even longer. Over the years, Anna always put others before herself. She was the type of person who would give you her last pound if it meant helping a friend, and now it’s time for us to show her the same love and support.

Anna had clear wishes about how she wanted her final journey to be. Liz, Maz, Fin, and I, with the help of our dear friend Bogdan, are determined to make those wishes come true. We are raising funds to cremate Anna and have her ashes reunited with her mum and dad, who are buried in Northampton. Once her ashes are taken care of, we will be hosting a memorial and goodbye gathering at the Heath Court Hotel in Newmarket, where we can all come together to honor her life and say our final goodbyes.

We understand that these are difficult times for many, but Anna always went above and beyond for her friends. Now, we ask for your help in giving her the farewell she deserves. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly towards fulfilling Anna’s final wishes and ensuring she is remembered the way she lived—surrounded by love and kindness.
