Anna Guico Hurd Emergency Medical Costs

Hi, we are fundraising for Anna Guico Hurd’s emergency medical costs and recovery/healing support.

On December 30th 2023, she was hospitalized with acute liver failure brought on by an infection and other medical complications - she is on the UNOS transplant list waiting for a transplant. During testing for her transplant, an early stage cancer was also found - she will undergo treatment for her cancer following recovery from the liver transplant.

We want to be able to prepare the home for her recovery and cover the medical costs that insurance will not pay for. This includes some big changes to make sure she has an accessible and sterile place in our home to heal from the transplant and other procedures she will continue to undergo.
