Anna's Cross-Cultural Mission

It is with great joy that I prepare to be sent to Africa for the sake of the gospel reaching the nations! This summer, I will be joining a team sent by the IMB to serve, witness, and learn alongside the local missionaries and believers to help build up the body of believers in Sub-Saharan Africa. I am pursuing an opportunity that seamlessly blends my passion for the arts and culture, making Christ known through the use of visual arts in a creative and culturally-appropriate way.

If you feel led to give financially, you will be supporting my training, travel, and necessary resources to go overseas. If you would like to support in another way, please pray as I prepare my heart for what God has prepared for me and those I come into contact with this summer.

When God called Jeremiah to be a prophet, Jeremiah responded with, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth” (Jeremiah 1:6, ESV). Yet God’s response is powerful and humbling. God answered Jeremiah, “Do not say, ‘I am only a youth;’ for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the Lord” (Jeremiah 1:7-8, ESV). Like Moses at the burning bush, God reminds His children that we have nothing to fear. He is with us, and His Spirit will teach us what to say. He has already given us the Words to speak. I say all of this only to convey that I am human, nothing special. But I know for a fact that God has called me to the nations, even if only for a season, and I cannot ignore this conviction any longer. I have received affirmation and encouragement from my parents, pastor, and several mentors for pursuing cross-cultural evangelism. I take this role seriously and would be honored and humbled by your support.
