Anna Burmeister

Anna Burmeister has been in and out of the hospital for the past month.  She had her first surgery in May to remove a mass that was supsected to be cancer. Fortuantely, the mass was benign, meaning not cancerous. Anna was in the hospital for 6 days, went home, and was readmitted to the hospital two days later on May 25, 2018 for decreased breathing and oxygenation. Anna has since been in the ICU. Anna has undergone ECMO and dialysis most of her stay and just underwent a major surgery on June 5, 2018, to remove calcified and new blood clots from her lungs. ECMO is an advanced life support process which has acted as her heart and lungs for circulation and oxygenation. She has been through so much throughout her young life, including fighting cancer. Miss Anna is very strong and is fighting to get better.  Her husband, Seth, has been at her side, fighting with her day in and day out. He is constantly updating those he and Anna love even though he has so much on his shoulders. After surgery, Anna will be in cardiac rehab for another 2 to 4 weeks, and will be in recovery for a total of three months. I am creating this Go Fund Me campaign to help out two great people.
