Anna Ballew Album Fundraiser 2024

Short gist of this:

I'm trying to raise $10,000 for an album with the intention of sharing my music to a larger audience and using my music to promote healing, liberation and a more connected human experience. I would so appreciate anything you can give if you feel inclined. I'll be putting on a couple fundraiser concerts in San Diego, so stay tuned for more information on that in the near future!

Longer context:

If you don't know me, my name is Anna Ballew, I'm from Missoula Montana, and have been living in San Diego for three years, doing music professionally for two of those years. I came here to stay with extended family during Covid, and was planning to move back to France to do some NGO work. However, once I got involved with some music projects, I felt a strong pull to explore it further.

It's been a wild journey of emotional roller coasters, beautiful moments, and deep connections through music that all point me to a very clear message: it's all connected. Music is intimately connected to the political and environmental worlds, as well as small and large scale communal efforts to improve the human condition. People are hurting and music can allow us to feel freely by breaking down our barriers that we've learned to build up for our own protection. I get a reminder of this every time play a song for a friend, an original music show, or even a crowded loud bar to drunk people requesting Tom Petty, lol. The way music can be used as a vessel for people to feel, reminds me that this isn’t about me, and thank goodness for that.

I will be constantly trying to figure out how I can use my art to lift up voices that need to be heard, and creating a world that I believe in. I would so appreciate anything you can give if you feel inclined to join me on the next big step in my music journey.
