Anna and Miles IVF Fund
Donation protected
This is Anna and Miles Diede. They are fundraising for IVF Fertility treatments to start their long-awaited family.
Anna and Miles met in 2015 as early-morning custodians at BYU. One year later, they were married. They recently moved to a new home in Savannah, Georgia, where they enjoy spending time exploring with their puppy, Geno. Both are artists and enjoy being creative together when they’re not playing outside. Anna works as a manager at Old Navy and Miles was recruited to be the Director of Ticket Sales for Savannah’s new hockey team, the Ghost Pirates.
Anyone who knows Anna and Miles can attest to their positive and upbeat personalities. Anna and Miles have always wanted to be parents, and have worked tirelessly with doctors to find out how to start their family. After five years of trying and with doctors running all the tests they could, Anna was finally diagnosed with endometriosis. Endometriosis is a condition that slowly scars the uterus and is what has made having children so difficult. Their doctors now think their best chance to conceive is for Anna to have surgery, start birth control for several months, and then try using in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
Unfortunately, their insurance doesn’t cover fertility treatments, and due to COVID, their recent moves from Utah to Kansas and then Georgia, and medical bills, their savings have been depleted. Despite all this, a date for the IVF process has been set and is fast approaching! They have scheduled appointments to start hormone injections at the end of January and the egg removal at the beginning of February.
Miles and Anna are hoping to raise enough money to cover one cycle of IVF.
