Hey friends, I'm starting this fundraiser for a longtime friend of mine that's going to lose her place to live soon through no fault of her own. It's the house she grew up in but the family member that owns the house took out a loan and didn't pay it back and the house is being foreclosed on and is set to be auctioned off in early January. She has been on disability for years and doesn't get much to live on because she has no children. She is eligible for Section 8 but even the waiting lists are closed right now. She was diagnosed with Covid two weeks ago and has been to the hospital three times since then so she hasn't been able to get much done to prepare for moving. I wouldn't do this for too many people but she's been the person I could call if I was sick and needed something from the store for a long time. I know times are tight and everybody has spent money for gifts but I'm asking if you're able to make a donation to help her with moving expenses. I wouldn't even ask if I hadn't donated to several GoFundMe requests from FB friends, some I've never met and really don't communicate with. I've usually done this anonymously . You can contribute with PayPal if you don't wish to use a card and can do either one without having your name listed on the fundraiser.
