Our beloved wife and mum Ann sadly passed away on 26 May following a brave battle with cancer.
Throughout her life Ann showed compassion, warmth, care and love for so many people, especially those less fortunate than her. Food was a huge passion and central to so much of Ann’s life with the kitchen table being the epicentre of the Talbot family. A warm welcome and delicious food awaited guests (even unexpected ones!) and where the events of the day were discussed and dissected over a seemingly never-ending supply of tea.
For many years Ann quietly supported the community in Burton on Trent through the Winshill Neighbourhood Resource Centre. Through her work at the Resource Centre (the meeting place for the ‘Harvey Girls’) Ann shared her passion for food, helping disadvantaged young girls learn to cook and develop practical life and social skills.
Please support Ann’s legacy by helping us raise money to support the work of the WINSHILL NEIGHBOURHOOD RESOURCE CENTRE. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
