As most of you know our mother, Ann Silvernail, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and brain cancer on March 16th. She underwent a long, intense surgery on March 20th to remove the largest tumor from her brain. She underwent intense radiation treatment for multiple weeks after the surgery and is now receiving a Keytruda treatment every couple of weeks since the surgery in an effort to treat the lung cancer. 

Everyone who knows our mother knows that she has spent her life making other peoples lives better. She has volunteered endless hours for her church (Our Lady of Good Counsel in Endicott NY). She has worked as a travel agent for her entire adult life, right up until the day she was diagnosed with cancer. 

As you can imagine, having to stop work suddenly on top of all the treatments and appointments have created a financial burden on the family and the insurance has only covered so much.
