Fredda “Ann” Pippin, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday December 14th, 2019. She had been admitted into the hospital with pneumonia on Thursday. Nothing showed that it was anything but a simple overnight stay to get her back on track physically. By Friday midnight, her family was notified that she had taken a turn for the worse during the night and that they had to preform CPR. Ann, who has always been a fighter – beating cervical cancer 7 years prior, hung on for a few hours more, just long enough for her family to be with her. She is free of illness and pain and is now at peace in Heaven.
Ann was an amazing wife, mother, and friend. She was loved by so many because of her natural instinct to care for others around her. She taught as a preschool teacher at Head Start. She loved people and children deeply and was also involved in many volunteer organizations. Ann also offered her personal time whenever someone was in need. The community and church meant a lot to Ann and being a part of those things was a big part of who she was. (She was also a proud and dedicated member of the Edison Chargers Alumni Band Committee)
Even though teaching has always been Ann’s passion, she would say raising her daughter was the most fulfilling and proud accomplishment in her life. She would go to every sporting event, support her through schooling, guiding in hard decisions, jobs, etc. She was never shy to express how her daughter was her best friend and how proud she was of her always. She spoke to everyone she could about the excitement of her daughter walking across the stage in May to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Business.
Her family and community will miss her beyond words.
The family is devastated by her sudden passing and were not prepared for the high cost of funeral expenses, medical expenses and the unexpected loss of a second income.
Please consider helping out Ann’s loved ones through this difficult time as they navigate this tragedy and move forward in life without her. Donations will go directly to her daughter Kendra Pippin and Husband Charles Pippin, to help with end of life costs (Funeral expenses, medical bills) and future expenses.
With deepest sincerity, thank you for your support and love.
