Ann Marie’s burial

It comes with great sadness to announce the passing of my grandmother, Ann Marie. She had fought long and hard for over two months of lying in a hospital bed. Her initial incident had led her to be intubated and extubated numerous times to the point that her airways were permanently damaged. She required a tracheotomy and a ventilator to allow her to continue living. In the midst of it all, she had suffered from a stroke and had lost movement of her right extremities, along with other declines of her health. We had high hopes of her coming home one day, but she unfortunately could not be weened off of the ventilator. After her brave fight, she had made the decision to go on hospice. She was ready, and she left us peacefully and pain free. We are immensely proud of her for her strength and are fortunate to have had such a beautiful being in our lives.

Our next step is to lay her soul to rest. We are trying to raise the expenses required to do so, as we currently are in need of any help we can get.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated, along with the sharing of this post.
I want to thank everyone who has sent their condolences and kind words during this very difficult time for myself and my family.
