We worked with Ann Bissell at the Visual and Performing Arts Academy in Virginia Beach before her dream retirement on the coast of Florida last year. She and her husband served our community and our nation by devoting their lives to education and defending our country. It was bittersweet to see her retire from VBCPS and we miss her every day. Every single day. A dedicated educator who had earned a small modest life in Saint James City, Florida. However, Hurricane Ian destroyed the area and all of Ann and Shawn's possessions. It will be a long difficult road to rebuild their lives there. Luckily, they survived the storm along with their dog Jameson and have a ridiculously positive outlook on the future. She gave us so much and we want to help support these amazing people who helped support us for so long!
