Ann and I (Alexa) met in 2018 and fell in love over the next year of getting to know one another. We got married in 2021 and now have two dogs, two cats, and a home in Grand Rapids.

Shortly after getting married, we decided that we really wanted to have kids. We tried at-home insemination with a sperm bank, as well as working with known donors that we trusted, but over the next 2 years, we were unsuccessful. Then came our fertility journey. We worked with a local fertility clinic to pursue IUI (in-clinic procedure). I was diagnosed with PCOS and realized that without the assistance of a clinic, our chances of conceiving were very low. We tried IUI two times through our clinic and then had to take a break for financial reasons. Treatment is expensive.

After taking a break, we want to continue our journey towards becoming parents, but we need help. We found a clinic that offers IVF treatment at 1/3 the cost of traditional clinics and want to pursue treatment through them. IVF has better success rates than other methods and is likely our best shot.

To start up, we need to raise $7000 at minimum. Any bit that you can help is so greatly appreciated!
