The Frankie Fund

This fundraiser is for the newest member of our family, Frankie. Frankie was found in the middle of the forest 2 weeks ago by my fiancé and dad while out on the UTV, when they found her she collapsed from exhaustion and dehydration. She had blisters and open wounds on all of her paws and up her legs, they were extremely infected and she wasn't able to walk. The vet said she had been out there for several days and probably wouldn't have made it through the night if they wouldn't have found her.
Frankie is an old hunting dog that we believe was brought out there intentionally and dumped. Unfortunately were we live its not uncommon for this to happen. She did not have a chip and wasn't wearing a collar when found. Frankie needs extensive dental work and she has quite a few lumps and fat pockets, there is one that concerns us because its is on her throat and seems to have gotten bigger since we've had her. If its able to be removed we want to take care of it now while she's young enough and before it starts to cause problems with her breathing and swallowing.
We lost our dog of 14 1/2 years a week after we found Frankie, and she is now saving our lives as much as we saved hers. We already love her so much and want her to be happy and healthy so she can enjoy the last remaining years of her life the way all dogs should, having fun and being loved!
