Anjuli Fernandez is a fun-loving, happy, goal oriented 36 year old super mommy of 8! She has 3 beautiful girls, 5 handsome boys, and shares life with her love Jordan Espinoza! When she’s not working at her full-time job or pushing to create extra financial support through her side business, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, oh, and loves singing karaoke! While her family is utmost priority, she is a woman of God, loves educating people on overall wellness, and has inspired and become a role model to many.
In May Anjuli noticed a lump in her right breast, however, with being a nursing mother she assumed it was a plugged milk duct. She attempted to massage through it and care for it as if it was so. One month later in June she noticed it was still there and decided on a doctor appointment to have it checked. They advised her to monitor it and to report if there were any changes. After a few weeks passed, in July, it seemed to have gotten slightly bigger. She scheduled a doctor appointment to have it looked at again and to report her new findings. The doctor ordered for her to have a mammogram done where they found a mass and immediately performed a biopsy. In waiting for the results, although it created anxiety, she had prepared herself and remained calm, positive, and faithful to God. On August 9th Anjuli’s obstetrician called her to inform that test results revealed she had breast cancer. It is vital the process be expedited so she is scheduled to have surgery on August 25th and then will continue with 5 months of chemotherapy and radiation.
Aside from numerous testing and upon waiting for her genetic test results the doctor ordered for an MRI on her liver just to rule it out. Although the MRI revealed an 8cm tumor, with God’s grace it was non-cancerous. She and her family were so grateful as this was some clarity in the midst of confusion.
Anjuli had gone through a mammogram, MRI, biopsies, numerous blood testing, and multiple doctor appointments spending nearly $1000 in one week’s time. In addition to these unprecedented times of covid, this was an unexpected cost causing more financial detriment to her and her growing family.
As she prepares for the road ahead she remains strong in her faith and humbly asks for prayers. This is set up to humbly ask for your donation to help with any medical bills and other costs for Anjuli. All of the donations will go directly to her and her family. Please find it in your heart to give. If you are unable to give please know that your prayers are greatly appreciated! Mahalo nui!
