Monday night everything changed in ways no one could have predicted. Even in the face of trauma and fear, Anjali stood strong and fought for her life because of her deep love for her children.
In Anjali’s words, “Monday night my life changed forever. I am so thankful to be alive. I can’t put into words how broken and lost I feel. I am so appreciative for the love and support everyone has shown me over the last 48 hours. I am still in the hospital and will be going in for my second surgery shortly. I ask that everyone keep my children and I in their thoughts and prayers as we start this difficult journey.”
As Anjali and her children begin this journey of healing and moving forward, we want to invite her community to come alongside her and support them financially. This will give allow her to feel the freedom to take time to heal and begin a new rhythm and find a new normal.
UPDATE from Laura (Anjali’s mom):
“Anjali has had two surgeries. Thinking she’ll be out of the hospital in a couple days they’re going to do some more testing probably today just to make sure that everything‘s OK physically internally. It’s gonna be tough for a long time emotionally and mentally.
So that she was a tax on she could think about was living for her children, and as she’s in her recovery process right now, she talked about living and creating a good life now moving forward with her children. She’s a strong woman and the super mom.“
