Hello,

My name is Aniyah Mills, and I’m reaching out for support during one of the most challenging times of my life. I have been battling hidradenitis suppurativa, a painful skin condition that has completely altered my life. The pain is constant, and it has now progressed to the point where I can barely move my arms beyond my chest.

I recently graduated college and was preparing for a career as a criminal analyst — a dream I’ve worked so hard to achieve. Unfortunately, this condition has made it nearly impossible to keep up with daily life, let alone pursue my career goals.

With my inability to work, paying for the endless doctors’ appointments and treatments has become a significant burden. Surgery is my only option to regain some normalcy and manage this condition. These surgeries include skin grafts, sweat gland removals, and even a double mastectomy, all of which are incredibly costly, even with insurance.
