Como muchos de ustedes han visto en las noticias, el sospechoso ha sido capturado. El servicio funebre del abuelo, Anival Patricio Elvir Ortiz, sera este Lunes, Agosto 18. No tengo palabras para describir mi agradecimiento por todo el amor y el apoyo que hemos recibido durnate estos momentos dificiles. Que Dios los bendiga a todos.

As many of you have seen on the news, the suspect has been captured. The funeral service for grandfather Anival Patricio Elvir Ortiz will be this Monday, August 18. I have no words to express my gratitude for all the love and support we have received during this difficult time. May God bless you all.

Mi nombre es Olga Fuentes, esposa de Gustavo Adolfo Elvir-Urbina, y nuera de Anival Patricio Elvir Ortiz. A todos los que conocieron a mi suegro Anival, con mucho dolor les hago saber que el lamentablemente a partido de este mundo. Esta mañana se nos dio la noticia que de camino a su trabajo el fue asaltado y le arebataron la vida. El fue un hombre trabajador, responsable y el mas honesto que pudo existir. Lamentablemente sus nietecitas no lo volveran a ver mas.
Esta situacion es mas dificil para mi pues mi esposo Adolfo no esta a mi lado en estos momentos. Ya que fue detenido por immigracion este Martes, sin tener ningun cargo criminal y su permiso vigente.
Por medio de esta plataforma estoy recaudando fondos para poder darle la despedida que mi suegro se merece. De antemano gracias por su ayuda y por cada palabra de aliento que he recibido en estos momentos dificiles.

My name is Olga Fuentes, wife of Gustavo Adolfo Elvir-Urbina, and daughter-in-law of Anival Patricio Elvir Ortiz. To all who knew my father-in-law, Anival, it is with great sadness that I inform you that he has sadly passed away. This morning we received the news that on his way to work, he was robbed and killed. He was a hardworking, responsible, and honest man. Unfortunately, his granddaughters will never see him again.
This situation is even more difficult for me because my husband, Adolfo, is not by my side right now. He was detained by immigration this Tuesday, without any criminal charges and with a valid permit.
