Anita’s road to recovery!

As many of you know, Anita has been in the ICU for over a month due to Covid pneumonia. She’s been through so much throughout her time in the ICU, including being put on a ventilator, an ECMO machine, and having two chest tubes put in because both of her lungs collapsed. By the grace of God Anita has been consistently progressing. So much so that she has been taken off of the ECMO and had one of her chest tubes removed. Today she was transferred out of the ICU and placed in a rehabilitation center. While this is great news and one step closer to Anita coming home, the rehabilitation center is out of town as there are no available rooms in any Tulsa locations. This means in order for Jorge to be with Anita, he will likely need to take time off of work again. We’re asking all family and friends if they can contribute anything to help cover the costs of gas, rent, and utilities.
