My Mum was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine, small cell bladder cancer. She is 45 years of age and is my everything. My Mum has struggled most of her life and has always put everyone else first. She herself has given her time to help fundraise for other people to get treatment and give back what she can to the community. I now feel its upto us to try and prolong or depending how immune therapy goes even SAVE her life!  Mum has battled through the crap in her life to get herself where she was just settling down with a loving husband (who may I add has been there before and now ever since and never left her side.) It was her 'Happy Ever After' she truly deserved. We, as a family, were hit with this truly devistating news in April 16 and since that day our lives have fallen apart. We as a family have done everything we can to make the time count and to try and leave a mark in this cruel world we live in. Mum has put on Christmas 80's discos for her local macmillain centre that have been truly amazing at this horrible time. She also put on a Macmillian Charity ball and has raised in excess of 10K even whilst on chemo!  My Mum is a dertermined stubborn woman who doesnt want Cancer to mean the end for her. She is Terminal and we all refuse to believe it. We are all pushing for this and have organised lots of fundrasing events.

Anita's Chance

We have been given some hope by looking up results in Immune therapy for people with similar cancers, most are now cured and we hope that the same could happen for my Mum. 

Mum is now on her second round of 'Pallative' Chemo which is what it says on the tin. Its there for her until it stops working and then thats the end of the line for her and us. Yet there is this treatment that could posssibly give us amazing results. As of now it is not avaliable on the NHS nor will our Skys Health insurance cover costs so it is now down to us to raise a HUGE £90,000!
