Anita spoke out about her sexual, emotional, and spiritual abuse by her now ex-husband. Her local Church, the Conference, and the Union didn’t believe her story. Today, the Seventh-day Adventist Church is still retaliating against her and her family.
And despite an array of experts ranging from psychologists, physicians, Child Protection Services, Police, child psychiatrists, and social workers giving their reports and expert opinions in the State Courts and their conclusions testifying to her ex-husband’s abuse of her and her children, the Church remains resolutely unmoved. There are currently nine ongoing cases, including two criminal cases.
