On May 2nd 2017 Anita was Rushed to the Hospital after suffering a Double Stroke In the Brain Stem Region Of Her Brain! She was in Emerg for the first Cruital Hours, Then Transfered to ICU where she fought very hard for her life!
This area of the Brain controls Breathing, Heart Rate Control, Consciousness, Alertness, wakefulness, Swallowing, Blood Pressure & Sweating! Although she is still able to do most of these functions , she tires very easily and quickly. She will have a long and tough road to recovery and we have all been by her side encouraging her and helping her fight through it and to stay strong!
Anyone who knows her, KNOWS this is a huge set back for Anita as she is a very Social, Talkative, Sweet, Caring Lovable Lady, which is how she has been able to Keep her Home Business Running with all her continuos Supporters!
Everyone LOVES Anita for her amazing Personality, Her Drive, Her Compassion and her Unbelievably Entertaining Company! She probably has had many lengthy conversations with some of you about Moose,Her Walk In Coooler, Live Bait, Cone Picking, Tree Planting, Natural Medicine, Fire Wood, Vending Machines and New and Exciting plans she has up and coming!
Anita has helped SO MANY people through the years and we are asking and hoping for some help for her!! She has been Such a Busy Woman her whole life with nothing but plans and the "next job" on her mind and now she is taking a break!
The Doctors have informed us that they cannot predict how her Recovery will be, how long each new step of it will take and we do not know what the costs of medical expenses and equipment will be for Anita at this time! Every Stroke is UNIQUE to each Individual and their Recovery Rate is Soley up to Them!She is a STRONG AND DETERMINED Woman and we are staying positive she will get through this!
At the moment Anita is in the STROKE WARD of Thunder Bay Regional Hospital where she is being Assesed Every Day to see how well she is Progressing!She has good days & Better Days providing she gets her MUCH NEEDED Rest. In the Future She will Most Likely Be transfered to St.Joes Hospital for continued Rehab and Recovery!
We are starting to look after her affairs but anything you can offer will help keep her dream alive and assist with the long road ahead.The goal we have set is strictly just a number, any amount helps, and Anita will appreciate this all so much!
While In the Hospital, Anita's Business and Home life are taking a finacial hit, We are all trying our best to help get her back up to having her finacial stabilty the she needs to survive, Which is also why we are reaching out to you for help and support for Anita!
