Anita Irvin-LeViege was born May 18, 1968 in New Orleans, Louisiana.  While giving to those she loved, Anita unexpectedly went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 3, 2021, along with her beloved dog, Chloe.
She  was raised in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans with four siblings. Her parents raised her to to be a God fearing, responsibleand self-sufficient woman.
Anita moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in 2004, living there for 13 years.  After the passing of her husband Donald Rucker, Anita made plans to return to Louisiana.
She returned in 2017.  She was fortunate and reconnected with Kenneth LeViege and was so in love. The love they shared was rare... one of a kind... built on commitment, trust, respect and faith in God. They joined in holy matrimony on April 18, 2020.  All who knew them were overjoyed with their union.  Anita and Kenneth had dreams and plans for their life together before she was tragically taken from us.  Anita was the one you could always depend on to get the job done and was the “go-to” person for all who knew her. She leaves to treasure her memory, her devoted husband, parents, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, in-laws, step children, aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.
A void is left in the lives of those who loved Anita and are left behind, but we take solace in the fact that without a doubt we know she is safe in the arms of our Lord and Savior. Knowing this gives us comfort. Her memory and legacy will never be forgotten.
Donations will be used by the family to cover needed expenses incurred due to her untimely passing. Any amount given will be greatly appreciated.
The family thanks you in advance for any contribution you bless them with.
