Help Anish & Rushi support REGC!
Donation protected
On June 22nd 2018 at San Francisco City Hall, Rushi and I are making our commitment to each other more official! We are looking forward to celebrating our civil union with friends and family over the coming days/weeks/months :)
Instead of registering for gifts, we want to use our celebration to support a cause that we both care deeply about - the local LGBT community, especially among people of color. The Red Envelope Giving Circle (REGC) is committed to creating positive social change in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area through philanthropic support to improve the lives of Asian and Pacific Islander (API) LGBTQ people and communities.
In the 6 years, REGC has granted $80k to 45 individual and organizational projects highlighting the themes of organizing ourselves, healing ourselves and being ourselves. REGC is 100% volunteer run and 100% of all donations are used for the grants. They have funded projects supporting mental health, inter-generational oral history story telling, transgender education, queer muslim womens retreat, family bonding through food and stories, arts and literature, and queer and asian student conferences and retreats, and many others - check out their 2018 and past grantees here.
Help us reach our target so we can cut them a big check, and support a lot more cool projects in our community!
