Anindya's Final Push to Publish His Book Adventure
Friends!
As you may know, I'm hoping to publish my debut book, "Agency & The Social Side to Grit," in early 2020.
I could honestly use a bit of a boost! I never realized all of the expenses that go into getting a book finished. I figure it's finally time to reach out to my amazing network. If you would consider donating anything at all, to help my longtime project become a reality, I'd be forever grateful.
Just some of the basic costs include:
Paying for permissions to use quotes, art, and other copyrighted materials ($400+)
Hiring an editor to do copy and structural editing ($1,500+)
Designed cover art ($600+)
Then there are many other costs if I wanted to try to use a publicist to help me promote it, or if I wanted to take time off to try and do some type of small book tour.
Publishing an academic book isn't exactly lucrative, but I hope that it can help parents, teachers, and other people who want to create environments for students to thrive. I just sent my first draft to my publisher, Columbia Teacher's College Press, but we have way more work to do. I really hope it comes out by spring and any help should help make that happen.
$5+ - My undying appreciation and friendship
$20 - I'll sign your copy when I see you (but let's be honest, I'll sign anyone's!)
$50 - Signed copy and personal note
$100 - Free signed copy and note
$500 - I'd have to mention you in the Acknowledgements!
Any donation also comes with a hug or any favor you may want in return.
Thanks for your time! Cheers, peace, and be well.
Love
Anindya
