Animals in the Moroccan Earthquake need us.

Having worked with SPANA in the earthquake affected area of the Atlas mountains, I know and love the earth built houses, the people and the animals. The immediate response in a disaster has to be rescue, but days later, the lost and bemused surviving animals will need our help.

ERHAM is heading out to the region in a few days time to set up feeding programmes and do whatever we can to help the animals who just days ago had loving families and warm beds but now have broken limbs and destroyed homes. Those on the streets will have lost their food sources with markets and cafes destroyed or closed. They will be starving.
