LAST CHANCE ANIMAL RESCUE

Hello guys, both myself (zoe) & my husband kevin are hoping to help a charity close to our hearts ...LAST CHANCE ANIMAL RESCUE SPAIN.

Last Chance Animal Rescue was set up in 2012. It achieved charitable status and registration in 2014. Initially relying on foster homes the demand increased to the point of needing a rescue shelter in 2020.

They give there absolute life to these animals in need ...the shelter holds 80 dogs and is full to the brim with another 20 in foster care. All medical needs,food, shelter rents, bills etc are barely covered by last chance donations although these are very much appreciated ....after covid a real problem hit due to not raising funds for the shelter via there charity shop and this continued for 2 years causing a back log in bills yet Jackie, daughter Alexandra and 2 low paid workers continued to give the love , support and attention to these rescued animals and maintainance to the building.

Now as you have all seen on the news spain has been hit by horrendous storms causing devastation to many homes, buildings, cars etc

Last chance was one of those who suffered the devastasmtion.....the banks of a local river bust causing severe flooding

and damages to the rescue centre & dog pens ....now you can only imagine how these 4 people worked like hell to get these animals to safety while waist high in water ...blood sweat & tears and not 1 animal lost its life because of the fantastic work of these 4 amazing people.

I want to thank the volunteers who were able to help turning up in vans & cars getting these animals to safety too after a plea on facebook .

Some of the bigger dogs have gone to other shelters which means more bills to board them !! ...we have another storm due so no work to start maintainance & clean up is able until this is all over...the staff have lost everything they own as they live on site in caravans ...there van was floating on water and the pens are in a complete mess. ....everything has to be fixed ir replaced...pens, beds, bedding, towels, food, washing machines, toys, office equipment & a whole lot more.....if you would love to help us raise as much funds as possible to help them rebuild the rescue centre please donate below ...every penny help no matter how small.

It breaks my heart to see how hard they work on a daily basis and get no help other than donations
