Hello, my name is Seguya John, and I am reaching out from rural Uganda where I've dedicated myself to a cause that often goes overlooked in our community – the welfare of homeless dogs and cats who have little to no hope of survival.

In our rural areas, countless dogs and cats struggle daily to find food, shelter, and basic care. Most suffer from malnutrition, disease, and injuries with no one to help them. After witnessing their suffering firsthand, I've been using my own limited resources to build simple shelters, provide food, and offer basic veterinary care to dozens of homeless animals. What started with helping just a few strays has grown into caring for over 30 dogs and 20 cats.

Every day brings new challenges – from finding enough food to treating injuries and illnesses with minimal supplies. Despite these obstacles, the transformation in these animals once they receive consistent care and kindness is truly remarkable.

I'm seeking $3,000 to:

Improve our shelter facilities to accommodate more animals.

Purchase proper food supplies, where I can buy in larger quantities it is less expensive.

Provide basic veterinary care, including vaccines and spay/neuter services.

Buy necessary medicines and first aid supplies.
