Animal Welfare, Wildlife and Conservation Project
Donation protected
Hi
As many of you are aware, I have always had a passion for animal welfare and wildlife
conservation. I have previously been employed by the RSPCA and at present,
employed by a local authority where I have enjoyed every moment of it working
towards giving a better life for each individual animal, and being the first point of
contact in to finding their/new homes.
But in 2020, I am wanting to take things further afield.
I want to be able to help other projects in different parts of the world to assist,
re-home, rehabilitate, rescue, vaccinate and educate in animal welfare and wildlife
conservation.
So I made the decision to join IVHQ. This is a volunteering company who give me
the opportunity to choose and apply to a project of my choice which relates to my
goals. I complete each application and work towards my financial target.
I will travel to each country with a handful of volunteers, offering a
unique and amazing way of traveling whilst meeting new people across the world.
Croatia - May 2020
This will be my first project where I am traveling to the city of Split, off the
Dalmation Coast.
I will be placed for 2 weeks at a rescue centre.
Some European countries tend to have poorer standard of kennels,
materials to work, and a lack of staff to provide rescue and care.
Within my time there I can assist in day to day care, provide medical treatment, teach,
build small animal centre constructions and to also importantly - learn!
Learning from other volunteers and locals is vital in spreading awareness.
It will cost approximately £1000 to fund for my first trip.
Programme Fee £630
For my placement of work, accommodation, airport pick-up, meals, programme
orientation.
Registering Fee £250
(Including expert specialist support, online training and comprehensive guide
to preparing for the project with access hub to communicate with other
volunteers).
Travel Approx. £150
I aim to reach this target by the end of March 2020.
I would be very grateful for any amount of donation which would really help me
reach my personal goals/targets, where it would also make a difference to the
lives of many animals.
I will then start my next project where I would focus on Wildlife and
Conservation in another part of the world.
IF MY TARGET REACHES OVER £1000 THEN ANY EXTRA MONEY WILL BE DONATED TO THE RESCUE CENTRES
Thank you for any support!
