There is urgent need of providing shelter for animals displaced by Woolsey Fire, and we are inundated with the inquiries to get the Ranch up and running to accept animals.
About me:
For those of you who may not know, my name is Deepak and I have been spreading my Ayurveda healing modalities throughout my new community of Malibu, California. Part of my mission is to create a healing place where animals can live in comfort and provide therapy to those needing natural healing. In doing so, I acquired the 80-acre Hope Ranch on October 18th, 2018, an animal rescue with multiple residences. Unfortunately, the homes did not withstand the fire, but the light shined down on the animals and we are grateful they are all OK. We have lost everything else; the wells, the trees, the coverage and grass, and we are asking for your help in rebuilding by planting one tree at a time.
We will need hundreds of trees and acres of ground cover to shelter the animals and improve air quality. We are working as quickly as possible to restore power to well pumps and infrastructure, so we can begin to stabilize the land before the rains come and wash it all away.
Mature trees cost $3,000 onwards, we will be planting native trees, to ensure the best energy flow.
However any donation big or small, will help us reach our goal.
Our first goal is $90,000, and for every donation of $3,000, we will name a tree after you or your loved ones.
For every $5,000, we will name a bench after you or your loved ones.
For every $10,000, we will name the tree, and a bench after you or your loved ones. Plus, we will host a picnic with the animals.
For every $25,000, you can name the coral and trees around the coral after you or your loved ones.
We have received multiple inquiries from neighbors needing a place to house their horses in the aftermath of this tragedy and we would like to help as soon as we can, but first we must stabilize the land and infrastructure to ensure that both people and their pets are safe. Please follow our story to see how you can help with tree planting and the rebuilding of this great oasis.
My heart goes out to everyone affected by the fire and may we use this time to draw closer to our loved ones and stand in solidarity with our community.
