I am raising money for Animals of Our World, an animal rescue based in Cambodia. If you know me, you’ll know how much I love animals, and especially whilst travelling, I saw the suffering that so many of them go through.

Animals of Our World are an incredible charity, and the only non-speciesist animal sanctuary in Cambodia, rescuing dogs, cats, chickens, cows, pigs, ducks and more. They rescue and rehabilitate abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need of emergency medical care in Siem Reap, with many dogs coming from the meat trade.

I had the pleasure of visiting their sanctuary, which provides safety to more than 150 animals rescued from neglect, many of who are paralyzed, disabled, senior, or have other special needs. I had the best day meeting the animals and witnessing all the amazing work they do - you could really tell how much the staff care for each and every one of their animals, and the work they put in is truly inspirational.

I want to use the London Marathon as an opportunity to raise as much money as possible for this amazing organisation which does incredible work and truly needs all the support it can get. Please take a look at their social media pages to follow along with the work they do!
