Audrey Bruce a White Salmon resident, mother, grandmother, farmer and caretaker to all has lost everything to The Burdoin Fire. Her pets, her livestock, her barn, her home, her heirlooms, and so much more are all gone. Her selflessness in the community in giving food from her farm and providing a sanctuary for injured or difficult horses and even people. She has helped and held up so many it's time we return the favor. As a widow and mother who has had her children pass on before her there's no one more devastated by this and no one more deserving of whatever you can offer to have something rise up from the ashes. Even if it's a quarter or $100 if you have something you can offer, it won't be forgotten. No one should have to start over at the age of 79 years old, especially someone with a heart as big and a soul as beautiful as Audrey. She's not a retiree, in addition to her Sanctuary Farm she ran at her own expense she also works as a flagger in the blistering heat, torrential rains and bitter cold. Her mental toughness would prevent her from ever asking for any charity, that's why she's the type of person who deserves it. She's tougher than most of us, probably all of us and has been an inspiration. Please do whatever you can to help.
