On August 14th, activists gathered for a peaceful protest outside of Springbrook Fur Farm. Once police arrived at the event, I went to speak with them since I was the organizer. They arrested me for two of the undercover investigations I did last year. I also was charged with failure to comply as I was within 500m of a farm.

I spent the night in jail and was released after my bail hearing on the afternoon of the 15th. I now have a court appearance on September 13th. If my cases are resolved on this day, I will have to pay around $3000 in legal fees. It is also possible my cases won't be resolved on this day, which will result in further legal fees.

All I was doing was exposing injustice. We live in a world where it is legal to exploit, abuse and kill sentient beings but it's illegal to expose the exploitation, abuse, and killing of sentient beings.
