Anil's Fundraiser for British Heart Foundation

Hey, hope you guys are doing well, just wanted to let people know that myself and 12 friends and family are aiming to raise £1000 on the 23rd of May, marking 1 year and a day after my dad (Anil) passed away.

All the money would be going to the British Heart Foundation, a charity that aims to prevent the 42,000 premature deaths a year in the UK due to heart problems plus much more through improving treatment. We chose this charity as the problem they try to tackle means a lot to us, as Anil had a heart operation in 2014 due to a genetic aortic aneurysm and passed away to due to a blood clot in the heart.

We are going to be raising the money by all 13 of us cumulatively lifting 500 tons throughout the day with his music playlist playing at his gym. We thought this would be nice way to fundraise and also remember him as so many of us had such memorable times and conversations working out with him in the gym as well as outside the gym.
