On Jan 22 afternoon, Anil Chengalaveetil, the father of the special needs child - Pranav, died suddenly due to a massive cardiac arrest. Anil was a dedicated, and a doting father, and truly believed that his son is God’s gift to him. Anil was exceptionally gifted and passionate about music. He was a career musician playing keyboard in a band. Anil’s sudden demise has come as a big blow to his family and they are devastated. With not much financial security the future looks bleak for the family.

I am Anil’s best friend from college and I am trying to help the family raise money to meet their financial needs to a certain extent. The money raised will be primarily used to cover their living expenses in the immediate future until his wife is able to find a financially viable job, to support the child's future and his mom’s old age needs.

I can't imagine the hurt his family is feeling and the pain his wife and mom with the special child must be feeling. I am praying for them, and they need your prayers too. God bless!
