Anika Burke Storefront Fire Relief

First and foremost, please hold space in your heart for our dear friends Neeka, Scott, Wesley, and Burke.  As many of you know, they own Anika Burke, an amazing brick and mortar storefront in Downtown Chico, CA.  Last night, there was a fire in the building adjacent to them and their store was severely damaged inside by smoke.  Their complete inventory (minus a few things that they were able to take out last night) is a total loss.  While, they do have insurance, we all know that the process of a claim is long and takes time.  Also, without inventory, they cannot continue to support their business and family with live sales and website sales. Those who know Neeka and her family are blessed to be recipients of their love! Neeka is the first person to support others in times of need! She supported shelters with care packages containing new comfy clothes during the Camp and Carr Fire. Just yesterday, she posted on social media looking for a way to support the current fire victims in the community.  Little did she know, that fate would deal her this crazy hand today.  Neeka can smile through almost anything and has been hustling to keep her virtual store open during these crazy Covid times.  This is where we all come in - It is our time to hold space for their family and extend our love in all forms (prayer- if you pray,  send love into the universe for them, a gift card for meals - Mod Pizza/Coffee, and monetarily if your situation allows for it)!  Simple acts of kindness is what gets us through hard times.  We would like to relieve some worry by helping them get through the next couple of weeks.  All funds will go directly to the family to pay for their needs.  Thank you for reading and supporting this hardworking family!
