Hi, my name is Susie and my best friend Anika and her Husband Jacob are expecting a beautiful baby boy this December 2025. Anika and Jacob have a 6 year bold son who is so excited to meet his baby brother and has even said he doesn’t want anything for Christmas because he gets to have his brother this year.

In a recent checkup of the baby, Dr. discovered the baby will have to have heart surgery only a few days after he’s born. Because of this surgery Anika and her family have to relocate to a city 2 hours from their home for 1 and a half months. This implies taking unplanned time off from work, finding a place to stay and meals. Aside from Anika and her husband already being concerned for the health of their baby boy these unplanned expenses have brought an overwhelming amount of stress and anxiety that they shouldn’t have. I’m making this in hopes that we can raise the money needed for them to be able to focus on their babies and no stress over the expenses that relocating may bring.

Anika and Jacob are hard working parents and have planned for their baby. These unforeseen circumstances shouldn’t take away from the joy of having their baby and being there through his recovery. Anything helps, thankyou to everyone who donates and shares!
