Aniiah's Fight

I am the Cousin of the Mother and with her permission she has allowed me to start a go fund me; hesitantly to help her and her family during this awful time.

Aniiah is a spunky, beautiful, bright smile 7 year old. She is her moms Second youngest out of four awesome kids. Aniiah started having headaches, and her dad ended up having to take her to the emergency room because Aniiah's headache made her "spacey"; Loss of apatite; dizziness; Just some causes for major concern. It's a good thing her dad did. She ended up being flown by helicopter to Riley's Children's Hospital in Indianapolis where she is at currently. They went in and put a drain tube because her CT scan showed Hydrocephalus- Which is basically build up of the fluid in the brain that is suppose to pass through normally. Once the build up starts things start to swell, and put pressure where there shouldn't be.

She currently has the drain tube placed, and they are now waiting for a mri to be scheduled. They will be looking for signs of seizures, because mom said "she's been doing crazy stare offs, and we can't break her focus, or get her to move, and those are the signs" We pray this is not the case, but we will have to await the test to get more answers on that.

For now they will continue to measure the pressure on her brain; Doctors do not want her to go over 20... she's gotten to 9 so far mom says. Which means even with the drain she's still having pressure build up.

Mom is going to keep us updated as much as possible.

As a mother myself with sick kids, I can understand the financial strain of lengthy hospital stays ( as they won't be going home anytime soon)

Mom recently switched jobs, so she hasn't been there long enough to collect , FMLA, PTO.

This is just the beginning for Little Aniiah. I just want to take the stress off her parents as much as possible. Anything is appreciated.
