Calling All Angels

You are receiving this because chances are Aniela Paneno has brought her beautiful light to your life. And if you were in her position, she would be leading this campaign to help you in whatever capacity she could.

Right now Aniela is fighting for her life due to ALS. Her condition has reached the stage where she requires 24-hour care.

Such care is very costly and not covered by insurance, which often bankrupts the family caring for their loved one. 

How can you help?

Any donated amount will help the family enormously. If you aren't able to give, even just your prayers and positive thoughts are greatly appreciated. 

Unsurprisingly, Aniela has been graceful throughout the process of discovering her ALS and managing her symptoms. People in the medical field caring for her have been shocked by Aniela's positivity and stoicism given the myriad of symptoms. In a recent trip to the ICU, one ICU nurse said Aniela changed her life forever - like she has many of ours. Aniela means Angel and that is what angels do.

ALS is a rapidly progressive disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Unfortunately there is no cure.  Aniela has been diagnosed with a very rare, genetic form of ALS called Familial ALS. (gene mutation SOD1 and AV5)
