Our dear friend angy and her family have encountered some serious tough times. Angy was recently diagnosed with diverticulitis. After recently having endometriosis surgery, we were all at the beach and she thought she was encountering some cramping from that. Later that night we received a call she was in the emergency room. They thought she would only be there for couple days, nooooooo, she had to have emergency surgery, and 8 inches of her large intestine removed in order to survive the infection that was in her large intestine that had spread to her abdomen due to tears that were also in her large intestine. She is now left with a ileostomy bag, which means everything travels thru her small intestine and out the side of her body. She is out of work for at least 6 weeks, and will again have to undergo another surgery when everything heals. That could be 2-3 months, then again out of work for 6 more weeks.
With hospital bills, medical bills and cost of living without angy working, life is extremely stressful on them right now. We would love to help this beautiful family out. They are so kind, caring and giving. Angy is the first to drop off food when anyone else is going thru hard times. They help out any friends in need whenever they can.
The birches family wants to do our best to give back and relieve some stress on this family so angy can relax a little and focus on healing. She can’t drive, and can’t lift anything over 20 lbs for 6 plus months.
Angy is a spectacular mother to Tessa who is 4 years old and Henry who is 9. They both have extracurricular activities and things going on that she has to coordinate with friends for rides. And then they are home with angy everyday while Tate is out busting his butt to work so hard and try to make ends meet. Tate works so hard everyday, is a fabulous father and they are all under stress. Let’s all come together and try to rustle up some cash for this family. They deserve some relief. Anything at all will help. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this story.
