Angus' Deaflympics Opportunity

Donation protected
My name is Tenille, and I am reaching out to request your support for a wonderful opportunity—my son Angus has been selected to represent Australia, alongside his brother, at the Deaflympics in Japan in November 2025.

Angus, currently 14 years old and a Year 9 student at Winmalee High School in the Blue Mountains, has been dedicated to soccer since the age of four. He began playing at Springwood United Football Club and, over the past three seasons, has played for Nepean Football Club. To further enhance his abilities, he had also trained with Golden Boot Football Academy.

Through his commitment and perseverance, Angus has earned a place in the Deaf Football Australia squad, where both he and his brother Hamish have received outstanding support from their team mates and community. We are proud of their achievements and grateful for this experience.

Given that all athletes must personally fund their participation—as Deaf Football Australia does not receive government funding—any sponsorship or financial assistance towards this journey would be greatly appreciated. The Foundation Shed, a registered charity supporting Deaf Football Australia, is instrumental in empowering deaf and hard of hearing individuals to reach their full potential in sports.

Thank you very much for considering this request and for your potential support of Angus as he strives to represent our country on the international stage.
