The Anglo Celtic Plate 100K arrives in Limerick next month, bringing together many of the finest ultra runners from across Ireland and the UK.

Despite months of outreach, we haven’t been able to secure sponsorship or support to cover essential event costs. We’ve approached major sports retailers, running specific shops, and brands connected to the sport, but without success.

We’re now turning to the running community to help us make this event happen by raising the funds we urgently need.

This event is not organised by Athletics Ireland, but by the Irish Anglo Celtic Plate representatives.

The Anglo Celtic Plate is a key fixture on the ultra running calendar. It serves as a developmental race for athletes aiming to qualify for Ireland or Great Britain teams at the IAU World and European Championships. It also offers runners the chance to take on the classic 100km distance without the added burden of travelling to Europe, where such races are more common.
