Hi fam!! I’m Angie’s sister, Harper. We aren’t blood related, but as most of you understand, to know Angie is to love her like family.

Angie has done sat on one too many of those dirty street toilets (lol) and found herself with a kidney infection! Over the last few months she has had a kidney infection and kidney stones. She went to the hospital and learned one of the stones is blocking her kidney from releasing fluids. The doctors put a stent in to allow the infection and fluid to go around the stone. But the stone is so big it’s blocking the tube, and they can’t blast it with that much infection because it could spread the infection and make her sepsis, possibly causing fatal results.

She is going into surgery on Monday and so grateful that her recovery, sobriety, and spiritually were strong enough to get her through this time with a resilient heart. But with a strong heart also came a strong ego and I had to convince Angie to let us financially help her during this time.

She has been out of work for weeks and her down time after surgery is unknown. She has important bills like her truck note and rent that are of vital importance, as well as basic needs for day to day survival.

I’m so happy she’s allowed me to do this, because of anyone in the world who deserves a community to rise up around her in her time of need, it’s ANGIE! She shows up rain or shine for anyone in need, and now it’s our time to show her how much we appreciate her being such a strong staple in our community and hearts.

Maybe this will show her to stop sitting on so many rusty toilets…
