Angie's Cancer Medical Expenses

My sister Angie is an amazing woman who loves her family and loves the Lord. She is my oldest sister and has battled for her health since birth, from open-heart surgery as a toddler, to various other surgeries throughout her life.  By the grace of God, she persevered.  However, her biggest health battle was yet to come.  In April of 2016 she was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer- adenocarcinoma, which is cannibalistic.  She began chemotherapy & radiation simultaneously.  Radiation was daily for 6 weeks and chemo was administered weekly.  The treatments were intense and she quickly began to wither away.  She got down to 80 pounds and struggled with daily life activities, walking, & keeping food down and it was a very scary moment for all of us. To experience watching your loved one physically fighting for her life and waste away was traumatic, but her faith was strong and never waivered.  She has undergone chemo treatments for 4 years now and the cancer keeps coming back, but my sister continues the fight with grace and a drive to survive.

She recently received the bad news that her current scans continue to show evidence of cancer, which has spread to other areas.  Therefore, she has to resume chemotherapy in April for the 4th time, and she will have to continue maintenance treatment from there on out. The fight for her life is not over but if anyone can do it, it’s my sister. As we all know, healthcare is very expensive, and her medical expenses do not cease to increase as she continues receiving medical care. I pray that you can find it in your heart to donate and help my sister pay for her medical expenses. My heart breaks to see my sister stress and worry about her medical bills when she should be focusing on beating cancer. Angie lives for her family. We have a strong family bond and when she is in pain we are in pain, and as she fights for her life, we fight right there beside her. Our Lord has never turned his back on her and she always finds a way to see the good in everything and everyone.  And despite her struggles, her faith stands strong. She has so much life to live.
