ALS(Lou Gehrig disease)
A progressive, debilitating, terminal disorder that affects the function of nerves and muscles. Sadly, Angie has been diagnosed with ALS. Soon she will become completely dependent on others. ALS will take away her ability to dress, walk, speak, swallow and breathe. Angie has been given a life expectancy of 3-5 years.
Angie was born and raised in Menomonie Wi, moved to Northfied, Mn for work as an Ultrasound Technologist at Northfield Hospital in 2001. There she raised her two children as a single parent, daughter Neriah Olson (24) and son Cole Olson (21). In 2016 Angie relocated to Roseville, MN to be with her now husband, Jeff Heikke and son Jeremy (17). Angie hasworked for Allina Health as an Ultrasound Technologist since 2016
Jeff Heikke has been part of the Roseville/Little Canada area community for 15years as a small business owner (H&D Flooring Inc.), volunteer and coach. Jeff is a devoted father, husband and now caregiver.
The proceeds of the benefit are designed to help Angie and Jeff with the immense medical bills, a handicap Van and the many home modifications that are need to provide Angie with the best quality of life possible and spend her remaining time in her home with her loved ones.
