Hello. We are Rich and Brenda Fisher.
As many of you are aware, our daughter Angie, is fighting for her life in the ICU in Pittsburgh. On May 14 she was airlifted, via Life Flight, to Pittsburgh and diagnosed with both COVID pneumonia and bacterial pneumonia. Her last chest X-ray showed her lungs are worsening. Angie has spent her adult life helping people. Not only is she an RN working in the ICU and ER Departments, she is also a Paramedic, and a volunteer firefighter. She risks her life each day she goes to work or volunteers at the fire station to help others.
Angie is a 2003 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School. After graduation she attended IUP and graduated with her BSN in 2007. Throughout her nursing career she's worked at Clearfield Hospital in the ER, Presbyterian Hospital in the Trauma ER, Forbes Hospital ER, Punxsutawney Area Hospital in the ICU, and most recently Penn Highlands in the ER.
Angie's EMS career began only two weeks after graduation from high school. Angie is also an educator and trainer.
Angie has done so much to help others, and now it is our turn to help her. Angie is currently fighting for her life and although she has medical insurance, the bills are starting to come in. Angie's car loan and school loans won't stop, but at the moment, she has no source of income. Angie does not qualify for FMLA or STD due to not being at her current employer long enough, so her job is not guaranteed after she beats this! Angie has four fur babies who are being taken care of. 100% of the funds raised will be put towards her medical bills, car loan, and school loans.
