On April 16th, Easter Sunday, while Angie Carter and her daughter, Kaitlyn, were away from home, their house caught fire. There was severe damage. Not only did they lose their home but they lost one of their beloved dogs, Scruffy. Thankfully, their other pets, Itty Bitty the dog and both cats, Sookie and Thomas O'Malley survived. Angie and Kaitlyn are now in the process of trying to salvage what personal items they can. They are also having to find a new place to call home. Angie has always been a hard working single parent and Kaitlyn is attending college and works part time. This tragedy has totally disrupted their lives but won't shatter their spirit.
